Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. If there's a significant discrepancy, it might indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced a particular outcome. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when there is a lot of information available and active trading. Examining these differences can provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.
