In the upcoming UAE Pro League game between Shabab Al Ahli Dubai and Al Ain FC, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 11:45 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Shabab Al Ahli Dubai vs. Al Ain FC match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 11:45 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. This can create opportunities for informed traders to find value where discrepancies exist. It's important to compare the implied probabilities from both sources when making your own assessment.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the market's collective assessment of that outcome's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices will adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The more shares purchased for a specific exact score, the higher its price will climb, indicating greater confidence in that result. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to new data and insights.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Shabab Al Ahli vs. Al Ain match will be used to determine the winning exact score. The resolution will be based on the scoreline reported by official sources, and the shares will be settled accordingly. It’s important to note that any potential delays in official reporting could impact the resolution timeline, but the goal is to settle the market as quickly as possible following the conclusion of the match.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Shabab Al Ahli or Al Ain could significantly shift the odds. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even weather conditions on match day, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected shifts in public opinion, reflected in analyst predictions or social media buzz, might also cause price movements. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the teams’ relative strengths or the likelihood of specific scores has the potential to move this market.
