The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions, as the market incorporates a broader range of information and perspectives than a single sportsbook.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who buy shares in a particular outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the SG Sonnenhof Großaspach vs. FC Augsburg match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning outcome. The platform will then verify the result against official sources to finalize the settlement of this market. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions impacting the match could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategy or manager decisions could also play a role. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket itself can create momentum and move the odds, reflecting a change in perceived probabilities as the match draws closer to Oct 27, 2026.
