In the upcoming La Liga game between Sevilla FC and Deportivo Alavés, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Sevilla FC vs. Deportivo Alavés match originally scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from La Liga (https://www.laliga.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, incorporating a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may emerge, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on Polymarket and a sportsbook. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees a correct prediction.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about its probability. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, while increased selling pressure lowers it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the exact score at the end of the first half of the Sevilla FC versus Deportivo Alavés match. Any official data source providing the first-half result will be used to determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Sevilla FC or Deportivo Alavés would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact trader sentiment. Even general news about team performance or manager comments could move the market. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue might also be considered by traders, potentially affecting the expected flow of play and influencing the probabilities.
