In the upcoming La Liga game between Sevilla FC and CA Osasuna, scheduled for October 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sevilla FC vs. CA Osasuna match originally scheduled for October 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perceptions, while this market incentivizes participants to assess probabilities objectively. However, sportsbook odds can still offer a useful point of comparison, particularly for those new to prediction markets. Discrepancies between the two can sometimes present opportunities for arbitrage, though these are often short-lived as the market adjusts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. When more people buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform's mechanism ensures that the odds implicitly represent a probability distribution that sums to less than 100%, accounting for the platform's margin.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Sevilla FC vs. CA Osasuna match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which contracts pay out. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed using widely available and trusted sports data sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified result.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff for either Sevilla FC or CA Osasuna would likely have an impact. Pre-match analysis from reputable sports journalists and analysts could also shift sentiment. Furthermore, significant shifts in public betting patterns at sportsbooks, even if not directly reflected in this market, could indirectly influence trader behavior. Finally, any unexpected weather conditions or stadium-related issues could also cause fluctuations in the odds.
