Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If there's a significant discrepancy, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and potentially offer more accurate probabilities than traditional sources.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly reflects the market’s collective prediction. The total value of all shares outstanding for an outcome represents the implied probability assigned to it by the market participants. This dynamic pricing ensures the market constantly adjusts to new information and evolving sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Yun-Seong Chung versus Yunchaokete Bu match. The platform will determine the winning outcome based on publicly available and verifiable information regarding the match’s completion.
