On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the market price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. The current price reflects the aggregated sentiment of all traders on the platform, offering a real-time gauge of expectations for the KBL championship.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the KBL championship series, as declared by the league's governing body. The winning team will determine the outcome of this market, and the platform will verify the result against publicly available data. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Key player injuries or suspensions on either the Seoul Knights or the LG Sakers would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected performance in regular season games leading up to the championship series, or changes in coaching strategies, could also impact trader sentiment. Major news regarding team morale or internal conflicts could also be a catalyst. Any significant development affecting the perceived strength of either team has the potential to move this market substantially before Oct 31, 2026.
