Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. Generally, if prediction markets and sportsbooks disagree, prediction markets have historically been more accurate at forecasting real-world outcomes. It’s important to compare the implied probabilities to assess where the discrepancies lie.
