Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook odds, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of an event, or that one venue has information the other lacks. Analyzing these differences can offer valuable insights into the potential for profitable trading opportunities.
