Description

This market tracks how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Seattle and Washington. Bettors predict whether a certain number of goals will be surpassed during that specific period of play. The outcome depends solely on the scoring in the third period, excluding any overtime gameplay.

Kalshi

The markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the third period of the specified NHL game. Three separate thresholds are evaluated: more than 0.5 goals, more than 1.5 goals, and more than 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals meet or exceed any given threshold, the corresponding market resolves to 'Yes.' Importantly, overtime goals are excluded from all calculations. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of its original schedule time, the markets remain active and resolve according to the final official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
