This market focuses on predicting which team will dominate the first period of an upcoming NHL game between Seattle and Tampa Bay. It specifically evaluates whether either team will win by a margin of at least two goals within that initial segment of play. The outcome hinges solely on the performance during the first period, making it a test of early-game momentum and strategy.
The market resolves based on whether Seattle or Tampa Bay wins the first period by more than 1.5 goals (i.e., at least a two-goal margin). If either team achieves this, the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For scheduling changes, if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves based on the actual result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within that 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime during the third period is excluded from consideration for these markets.
