This event determines which player will achieve the highest number of rushing yards in an upcoming football game between Seattle and Denver. Each market focuses on a specific player, evaluating their performance against all other participants in the game. The outcome depends solely on individual in-game statistics.
The event resolves based on which specified player records the most rushing yards in the Seattle vs Denver Pro Football game scheduled for October 15, 2026. If the designated player achieves the highest yardage, that market resolves to Yes. If the player does not participate, the market resolves to No. In case of a tie among multiple players for the highest yards, the payout is divided equally among all tied markets at a rate of 1/N, where N is the number of tied players, with No holders receiving $1 minus the Yes payout. Postponements within 48 hours of the original start time do not affect resolution, which remains based on the final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly favors one outcome. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines, particularly as new information emerges or if there’s a significant shift in public perception regarding the likely winner. Analyzing these differences can be a valuable exercise for informed forecasting.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome of the Seattle vs Denver rushing yards contest. The price of a contract ranges from 0 to 100, representing the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts for a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as traders react to news, injuries, and other relevant factors, constantly adjusting the probabilities reflected in the contract prices.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official results of the Seattle versus Denver game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The team with the most rushing yards, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine the winning outcome of this market. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or fulfill their obligations based on the final outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Seattle or Denver running backs or offensive lines would likely cause price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they predict adverse conditions affecting the running game, could also influence trading activity. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or shifts in team personnel could also play a role. Furthermore, any late-breaking news or analysis from reputable sports analysts could sway trader sentiment and impact the price of contracts in this market.
