In the upcoming MLS game between Seattle Sounders FC and CF Montréal, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Seattle Sounders FC vs. CF Montréal match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than those offered by traditional sportsbooks, as they reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. However, sportsbook odds are readily available and often provide a convenient benchmark. It’s common to see initial discrepancies between the two, with prediction markets often adjusting more quickly to new information and insights. This market, like others, may show differences in implied probabilities compared to what sportsbooks are offering for the final score.
On Predict, this market is priced through a dynamic order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability distribution. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived likelihood of that outcome. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This continuous trading process ensures the market reflects the latest information and expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Seattle Sounders FC versus CF Montréal match will determine the winning outcome. The market will settle to 100% for the correct exact score, and 0% for all other possibilities. Traders holding contracts for the winning score will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups for either the Sounders or Montréal would likely cause significant shifts. Weather conditions on match day, tactical decisions announced by the coaches, and even pre-game analysis from sports commentators could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as early red cards or penalty kicks, would also lead to rapid price adjustments in this market.
