In the upcoming Copa Libertadores game between SE Palmeiras and Fluminense FC, scheduled for October 21, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the SE Palmeiras vs. Fluminense FC match originally scheduled for October 21, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. As more information becomes available – such as team news or weather forecasts – the prediction market odds can adjust more rapidly and efficiently than traditional sportsbook lines, potentially offering a more accurate forecast of the final result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a specific score will happen, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading on the platform, offering a unique perspective on the likely result.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the SE Palmeiras vs. Fluminense FC match, as officially recorded by sporting authorities, will determine the winning outcome. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the final market price of those shares at the time of resolution. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on publicly available data, ensuring a fair outcome for all participants.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either SE Palmeiras or Fluminense FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team formations or managerial decisions could also impact market sentiment. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, and even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators, could all contribute to price movements. A significant upset in either team’s previous match could also lead traders to reassess their probabilities, causing noticeable changes in the market.
