In the upcoming La Liga 2 game between SD Eibar and RCD Mallorca, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the SD Eibar vs. RCD Mallorca match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate assessment of probabilities than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to express their true beliefs, while sportsbooks need to account for profit margins and potential biases. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful point of comparison. If there's a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and the odds offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate that the market has identified information that sportsbooks haven’t fully incorporated. It’s always wise to consider both when forming your own opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scorelines for the Eibar vs. Mallorca match, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular score is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts, the price will decrease. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing perceptions.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Eibar vs. Mallorca match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline determined by official sources will be used to determine the winning shares. The platform will then distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the final score. It’s important to note that the official result, as reported by recognized sports authorities, is the sole determinant of resolution, and no other data sources will be considered.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market before Oct 17, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Eibar or Mallorca would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected announcements about key personnel or strategic changes could also move the market. Finally, large trading volume from informed participants could also signal a shift in expectations and cause the odds to fluctuate, so monitoring activity on Polymarket is crucial.
