In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Scotland and Czechia, scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 2:15 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Scotland vs. Czechia match originally scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 2:15 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, often incorporating information and analysis that might not be immediately priced into traditional sportsbook odds. While sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk assessment, this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs, potentially leading to different probabilities. Discrepancies can arise from differing opinions on team form, injuries, or even less quantifiable factors. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks to incorporate new information, but sportsbook odds still provide a useful benchmark for comparison.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and informative price discovery process.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Scotland vs. Czechia match will determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution will be based on the exact score as recorded by the official match organizers. Any disputes or ambiguities will be resolved using widely accepted sports data sources to ensure a fair and accurate outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market leading up to Oct 13, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Scotland or Czechia would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather forecasts for the match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other qualifying matches or major football events could shift overall expectations and influence the probabilities reflected in this market. Public opinion and media coverage can also play a role, though to a lesser extent.
