Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, it may present an arbitrage opportunity for informed traders. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are not always more accurate; they simply represent a different form of forecasting based on collective intelligence.
