Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 11, 2026, using the same primary source (CBF/governing body statistics) and treating cancellation identically across all three outcome markets.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) or the governing body/event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes: SC Internacional wins, Grêmio FBPA wins, or draw.
Polymarket's draw market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw, NO otherwise; Polymarket's win markets resolve YES only if the named team wins.
Kalshi's three markets each resolve YES for their respective outcome (Internacional win, Grêmio win, or tie).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game: Polymarket's draw market resolves YES; Polymarket's win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's tie market resolves YES, win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open until the match is completed and the final result is determined.
Match Cancellation Without Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket treats this as a draw (draw market YES, win markets NO); Kalshi treats this as a tie outcome (tie market YES, win markets NO).
Resolution Source Fallback: If CBF/governing body does not publish final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, both platforms accept credible reporting consensus as the resolution source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by CBF or the governing body, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
