In the upcoming Eredivisie game between SC Heerenveen and NEC, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 1:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the SC Heerenveen vs. NEC match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 1:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks may set lines based on team rankings and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individuals. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of that outcome will decrease, indicating a higher probability. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact scoreline. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the latest information and sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Price fluctuations are driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure lowers the price, indicating greater confidence in that outcome, while increased selling pressure raises the price.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Heerenveen vs. NEC match, as officially recorded by the league organizers, will determine the winning contract. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the payouts to traders who correctly predicted the exact score of the game. No further information is available regarding the specifics of outcome verification.
Several factors could influence the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either SC Heerenveen or NEC would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team form, such as recent wins or losses, and tactical adjustments announced by the managers could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match commentary from respected soccer analysts, could all contribute to price movements in this market as traders react to new information.
