PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict define the second-half result based on the same criteria: goals scored in the second half (including stoppage time), with a draw as a possible outcome, and a consistent approach to postponements and cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to a draw.
  • First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until completion.
  • If the game is canceled, the market resolves to a draw.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals in Second Half: If both teams score zero goals in the second half, the market resolves to a draw.
  • Official Stats Delay: If official statistics are not published within 24 hours, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the official final result of the second half is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, typically shortly after the match concludes. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
