Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but are also influenced by factors like public betting patterns and risk management. This market, driven by individual traders on Limitless, may incorporate information not immediately reflected in sportsbook lines, such as insider knowledge or nuanced understanding of team dynamics. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on the likelihood of both teams scoring, and the level of confidence behind those predictions.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both SC Freiburg and Bayern München will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating a greater probability of both teams scoring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable traders are rewarded and those with incorrect predictions may incur losses. This dynamic process aims to converge the market price towards the true probability of the event occurring.

This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both SC Freiburg and Bayern München score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams have found the net, and this information will be sourced from reliable sports news outlets and official league statistics. The final result will be reflected in the market’s settlement, confirming whether the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ outcome prevailed.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either SC Freiburg or Bayern München would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements, particularly if they affect attacking players, would be closely watched. Furthermore, any pre-match analysis suggesting a change in the expected goal-scoring potential of either team could drive trading activity and shift the odds in this market.
