If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase. This can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, discrepancies can still occur due to differing risk appetites and information access.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden versus AZ match will be used to determine the winning shares. The exact score that occurs during regulation time will be the basis for settlement. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will receive a payout of 1 USDC per share, while shares in incorrect outcomes will be worth 0 USDC.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups would likely have an impact. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also shift expectations. Furthermore, pre-game analysis from sports commentators and analysts, as well as any significant shifts in public opinion, could drive trading activity. Finally, as the match progresses, live game events, such as goals scored or red cards issued, will rapidly adjust the probabilities reflected in the market prices.
