Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All Polymarket rules align on scope (90 min + stoppage), source hierarchy (official then consensus), and edge case handling (postponement vs cancellation). Kalshi lacks published rules but does not contradict Polymarket logic.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Eredivisie statistics (eredivisie.nl/competitie/speelschema) as recognized by the governing body; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Match resolves based on final score within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only
Draw market (Polymarket) resolves Yes if match ends level, No if either team wins
FC Utrecht Win market (Polymarket) resolves Yes if FC Utrecht scores more goals, No otherwise
SBV Excelsior Win market (Polymarket) resolves Yes if SBV Excelsior scores more goals, No otherwise
If match is postponed, all markets remain open until the rescheduled match is completed
If match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Draw market resolves Yes and both team-win markets resolve No
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: Markets remain open and unresolved until the match is played on its rescheduled date
Cancellation without rescheduling: Draw market resolves Yes; FC Utrecht Win and SBV Excelsior Win markets both resolve No
Extra time or penalties: Resolution is based only on the 90-minute result plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded
Source delay: If official Eredivisie statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used for resolution
Timing:
Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the match concludes on April 26, 2026, or on the rescheduled date if postponed
