If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs. If a significant number of people believe a specific outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can present opportunities for arbitrage, though transaction fees should be considered.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the perceived likelihood of that outcome occurring, and this is constantly updated based on supply and demand within the market.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Sarpsborg 08 FF versus Kristiansund BK match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result published by the relevant sporting authority, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all traders participating in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly impact perceived probabilities. Additionally, pre-match analysis from sports analysts, weather forecasts, and even public sentiment expressed on social media could all contribute to price movements. A surprising result in a related match involving either team might also cause traders to reassess their positions.
