If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small team of experts, while this market’s probabilities are determined by the collective predictions of many individual traders. It’s common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. Comparing these odds can provide a more comprehensive view of the likely outcome and potentially identify value bets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with informed traders and new information influencing the market’s overall assessment of the event’s potential outcomes. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time reflection of collective belief.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Santos FC versus EC Bahia match will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official result published by the relevant sporting authority. It’s important to note that the outcome is determined by the actual event result, not by any subjective interpretation or pre-defined criteria beyond the final score.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Santos FC or EC Bahia would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups or pre-match analysis from respected football commentators could also move the market, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions accordingly.
