Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate new information quickly, potentially leading to faster adjustments than sportsbooks.
