The event determines whether either San Jose or Boston wins the first period by more than a 1.5 goal margin. If Boston achieves this dominance, the first market resolves to Yes; if San Jose does, the second market resolves to Yes. Both markets share secondary rules: overtime in the third period is excluded from consideration, and if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, the markets remain active and resolve based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within this window, all markets resolve to a fair price.
