This event tracks rushing yard milestones for specific players in an upcoming football game between San Francisco and Atlanta. The outcome depends on whether designated players achieve various rushing yard thresholds during the full match, including overtime periods.
All markets in this event resolve based on whether specified players reach designated rushing yard thresholds in the full game, including overtime. Each contract is protected: if a player participates in at least one play during the first half but none after halftime (including overtime), the contract resolves to the pre-game fair price unless the player meets the threshold, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. Participation in a play nullified by penalty does not count, and players who never participate are subject to the fair price non-participation rule. The protected designation applies only to full-game contracts with 'at least' payout criteria. Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines which are set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may initially incorporate biases or react quickly to news, while this market aggregates diverse opinions over time. It’s common to see this market converge towards a more accurate probability as more information becomes available and trading volume increases. However, discrepancies can persist due to differing market participants and risk appetites, and the specific focus of each – sportsbooks aim to profit, while prediction markets aim to forecast.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing potential rushing yardage outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders set the odds by placing bids and asks, and the market price fluctuates based on supply and demand. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment surrounding the San Francisco versus Atlanta game.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official rushing yardage statistics for the San Francisco versus Atlanta game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be based on the officially recorded rushing yards from the game, as reported by the NFL's official statistics source. Any adjustments or corrections made by the NFL after the initial reporting will be reflected in the final resolution of this market. Traders will then receive payouts based on their positions and the final outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Injury reports for key running backs on either team would be a significant catalyst, as would any changes to the teams’ offensive strategies or projected game plans. Unexpected weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow, could also impact the running game and shift market sentiment. Finally, any news regarding coaching decisions or player matchups could lead to adjustments in the perceived probabilities and, consequently, the prices within this market.
