The second market determines whether San Diego State will win the first half by a margin exceeding a specified number of points, or whether Colorado State will achieve the same. It measures the point differential in favor of either team during the first half only.
These markets resolve based on the point differential in the first half of the San Diego State vs Colorado State college football game scheduled for October 24, 2026. Only points scored during the first half count. If San Diego State wins by more than the specified margin, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. If Colorado State wins by more than the specified margin, that market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it may indicate that the crowd perceives a different probability of a particular outcome than the sportsbooks do. It's important to note that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes of the San Diego St. vs Colorado St. spread. The price of each contract reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time view of market expectations. The current price indicates the cost to take one side of the spread.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point spread will be determined by the official result of the San Diego St. vs Colorado St. game. The market will settle based on which team covers the spread, as determined by the official game statistics. Any adjustments or official rulings related to the game’s outcome will be considered in the resolution process.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the San Diego St. or Colorado St. teams would likely cause movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they significantly impact the playing conditions, could also shift the market. Additionally, significant betting activity or large-volume trades on Kalshi itself can influence the price. Finally, any public statements from coaches or analysts offering strong opinions on the game’s likely outcome could impact trader sentiment.
