Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market’s probabilities are determined by individuals trading based on their own research and insights. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event, as they incorporate a wider range of information and perspectives. However, sportsbook odds may offer different value depending on your own assessment of the game and risk tolerance.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to reflect the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
