Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the event’s probability. If significant differences exist, it may signal an opportunity for arbitrage, where traders can profit by exploiting the price difference between the two venues. It’s important to compare odds from various sources when making informed predictions.
