Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' perspective, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If there’s a significant discrepancy between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. However, it's important to remember that both represent different forms of opinion and aren’t always directly comparable, as they cater to different user bases and risk appetites.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds continuously adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment surrounding the Sabuka vs. Cmil match.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sabuka vs. Cmil match as declared by the governing sporting body. Any disputes or challenges to the official result will be considered according to the platform’s standard procedures. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout equivalent to 1 minus the trading fee, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
