Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there is significant disagreement between the two, it may present an opportunity for arbitrage – though transaction fees and withdrawal times should be considered. It’s common to see this market incorporate information and perspectives not immediately reflected in sportsbook pricing.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. The closer we get to the event, the more the price will likely converge towards the true probability, assuming efficient market dynamics. The current top outcome is unavailable, as is the percentage chance.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
