In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Russia and Namibia, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Russia vs. Namibia match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market aims to represent the true probability of each outcome as assessed by traders. Polls and analysts currently suggest a wide range of potential outcomes for this match, but this market provides a unique, real-time assessment based on financial commitment. Discrepancies between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds can arise due to differing opinions, information access, and risk appetites among bettors and traders.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to set accurate prices, as they profit from correctly predicting the final result. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to converge on the true probability of each outcome as more information becomes available and more traders participate in the market.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Russia-Namibia match, specifically the exact score, will be used to determine the winning contract. Any delays in official reporting may slightly postpone the resolution, but the goal is to settle the market as quickly and accurately as possible following the conclusion of the game. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market will be finalized.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected weather conditions could shift trader sentiment and impact the odds. Significant pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or updated statistical models could also cause price movements. Furthermore, large trades executed by individual traders or groups could temporarily affect the prices, though the market generally self-corrects as more information becomes available. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves leading up to Oct 3, 2026.
