In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Russia and Namibia, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Russia vs. Namibia match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and aim to balance their risk, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that prediction market traders have information or insights not fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market’s current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure raising the price and increased selling pressure lowering it. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to new information and changing perceptions.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Russia-Namibia match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sporting body responsible for the match. It's important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available and verifiable information to ensure a fair and accurate determination of the market’s outcome.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities of different outcomes. Significant shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analyses, might also impact trading behavior. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches could influence traders’ confidence in their predictions. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as red cards or penalties, could also lead to substantial price movements in this market.
