In the upcoming match between RU Saint-Gilloise and Real Sociedad de Fútbol, scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "RU Saint-Gilloise" if RU Saint-Gilloise are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Real Sociedad de Fútbol" if Real Sociedad de Fútbol are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially early on or if they react quickly to new information. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, as sportsbooks factor in a profit margin, while this market is driven by pure prediction. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view of the expected outcome.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of each contract reflects the collective belief of the traders about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market operates on supply and demand; if more people believe Saint-Gilloise will score first, the price of that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the odds reflect the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the RU Saint-Gilloise versus Real Sociedad de Fútbol match. If no goal is scored by either team, the market will not resolve in favor of either outcome. The result will be determined by official match data, and any disputes will be handled according to the platform's standard procedures. Traders will be able to claim their winnings after the outcome is officially verified.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Saint-Gilloise or Real Sociedad would likely cause a shift in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also play a role. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups or pre-match team news are also common catalysts. Finally, large trading volume from informed traders could indicate a shift in sentiment and move the market, even without a specific news event.
