In the upcoming UEFA Europa League game between RU Saint-Gilloise and Real Sociedad de Fútbol, scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the RU Saint-Gilloise vs. Real Sociedad de Fútbol match originally scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds tend to reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. However, sportsbook odds are often set to incorporate a profit margin for the house, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as sportsbooks react to initial public sentiment and sharp action. Over time, as more information becomes available and more trading occurs, this market often converges towards a more refined probability assessment than those offered by sportsbooks.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people believe a particular score is likely, the price of that outcome increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds closely align with the perceived probabilities of each possible result. The current trading volume indicates the level of interest in each potential outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Saint-Gilloise vs. Real Sociedad match, as reported by official sources, will determine the winning contract. The resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable data to ensure a fair and accurate outcome. Traders will be able to view the resolution details on Predict once the event has concluded and the results are confirmed.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Saint-Gilloise or Real Sociedad would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions leading up to the match could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups or pre-game analysis from reputable sources could also trigger movement. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of different exact scores has the potential to move this market.
