Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on internal models and aim to balance their risk, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If many participants believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can buy 'yes' shares, driving up the price and potentially creating arbitrage opportunities. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market's lifecycle, as information becomes incorporated into the price.
