On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are bought, the price of that outcome increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Romanenko vs. Pohonov match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the official result declared by the governing body of the sport. The platform will then verify the result against these sources to finalize the settlement of the market. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will receive a payout based on the final share price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before Nov 2, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions could impact perceived probabilities. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players, or shifts in public opinion based on expert analysis, could also cause significant movement. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants can create short-term price fluctuations, so monitoring the trading activity itself can be a valuable signal.
