Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the likely outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to note that odds can converge as more information becomes available and more people participate in this market.
