Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks may set odds based on statistical models and public perception, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. Over time, prediction market prices tend to become more efficient as more information becomes available and more traders participate. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as the market incorporates diverse opinions and reacts to news or developments related to the players involved. This can create opportunities for arbitrage or informed trading.
