It reflects the competitive performance of the teams in the initial segment of the match, focusing solely on the scoring during that period. The outcome depends entirely on which team has the higher point total at halftime.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the results of the first half of the men's college basketball game between Rider and Pittsburgh, scheduled for November 2, 2026. If Rider scores more points than Pittsburgh in the first half, the 'Rider' outcome settles as Yes. If Pittsburgh scores more points than Rider in the first half, the 'Pittsburgh' outcome settles as Yes. If both teams score the same number of points in the first half, resulting in a tie, the 'Tie' outcome settles as Yes. Only points scored during the first half are considered for resolution; the final game result or any overtime periods do not affect the outcome.
