On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the market price converges towards what the crowd believes is the true probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuations are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe the Richmond Tigers will win, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing the implied probability of that outcome.
