This prediction market asks participants to forecast the exact final score of a UEFA Nations League match between the Republic of Ireland and Israel. The markets exclude extra time and penalty shootouts, focusing solely on the regulation 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
In the upcoming UEFA Nations League game between Republic of Ireland and Israel, scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Republic of Ireland vs. Israel match originally scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow anyone to express their belief about the outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook's initial assessment. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information and adjust probabilities based on real-time trading activity, offering a dynamic alternative to static sportsbook lines.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict for the Ireland vs. Israel score market may differ due to variations in user base, trading activity, and market-specific rules. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, Polymarket might attract more sophisticated traders with access to different information, while Predict could have a broader, less experienced user base. The differing fee structures and liquidity on each platform also contribute to price discrepancies. Furthermore, differing opinions on the likelihood of various outcomes can emerge independently on each venue, leading to divergent probabilities until arbitrage opportunities are exhausted.
Several signals could significantly impact the Ireland vs. Israel score market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either team would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in weather conditions predicted for the match day could also influence expectations. Furthermore, tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could affect trading activity. Finally, general public sentiment and media coverage leading up to the match may contribute to fluctuations in this market, as traders react to new information and adjust their forecasts.
