This market will resolve according to the region with the most teams in the Knockout Stage of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026. A team counts for the region (league) through which it qualified for Worlds 2026: LCK (South Korea), LPL (China), LEC (Europe / EMEA), LCS (North America), LCP (Asia-Pacific), or CBLOL (Brazil). A team that enters the Swiss Stage through the Play-In keeps the region it qualified through. A team is considered to have reached the Knockout Stage if it is officially confirmed as one of the eight teams advancing from the Swiss Stage to the Knockout Stage (quarterfinals). If two or more regions are tied for the most teams in the Knockout Stage, this market will resolve to "Tie". If the eight Knockout Stage teams have not been determined by December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Championship/2026) may also be used.

Comparing prediction market odds to sportsbook odds reveals how collective intelligence differs from traditional oddsmaking. Generally, prediction markets tend to incorporate information more efficiently, potentially offering more accurate probabilities as new data emerges. However, sportsbook odds are often influenced by factors like public betting patterns and the sportsbook’s risk management strategies. For this market, it's important to note that sportsbooks may not offer odds directly comparable to the specific question of regional representation in the Worlds 2026 Knockout Stage, making a direct comparison challenging.
This market resolves around Dec 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the region with the most teams advancing to the knockout stage of the Worlds 2026 League of Legends Championship will be declared the winner. The final team lists for the knockout stage, as officially published by the tournament organizers, will serve as the basis for determining the winning region. Any disputes will be resolved by referencing official tournament documentation and results.
Several factors could significantly impact this market between now and Dec 15, 2026. Major roster changes for prominent teams in different regions, unexpected upsets in regional qualifying tournaments, and shifts in the meta-game favoring certain regional playstyles could all influence trader sentiment. Strong performances by teams from a particular region in smaller international tournaments leading up to Worlds 2026 could also boost their perceived chances. News regarding player health, visa issues, or coaching changes could also introduce volatility into this market.
