In the upcoming Ligue 2 game between Red Star FC and AS Nancy-Lorraine, scheduled for November 2, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Red Star FC vs. AS Nancy-Lorraine match originally scheduled for November 2, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a broader range of information and incentives than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks typically focus on maximizing profit while accounting for public betting patterns, whereas this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing accurate predictions. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those seen here, it could indicate disagreement about underlying probabilities, perhaps due to differing assumptions about team form, player availability, or other relevant factors. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing methodologies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new developments.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Red Star FC versus AS Nancy-Lorraine match will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any official result published by a recognized sporting authority will serve as the basis for settlement. The market will then pay out to those who correctly predicted the exact scoreline, based on their share holdings at the time of resolution. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Red Star FC or AS Nancy-Lorraine would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact the market. Furthermore, weather conditions on match day, tactical announcements from the managers, and even public sentiment expressed through social media could all contribute to price movements. Monitoring these signals can help traders identify potential opportunities before Nov 2, 2026.
