All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit, while this market represents the collective beliefs of traders. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the likely outcome of the Sporting Gijón vs Valladolid match, and potentially identify value where the markets disagree.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing sentiment regarding the Sporting Gijón vs Valladolid match.
