In the upcoming La Liga game between Real Sociedad de Fútbol and Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Real Sociedad de Fútbol vs. Rayo Vallecano de Madrid match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from La Liga (https://www.laliga.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying levels of information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows traders to express their own probabilities. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly deviates from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. Examining these differences can reveal insights into where the market believes sportsbooks may be mispricing the event, or where public opinion is particularly strong.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores for the first half. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing opinions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth, or the number of shares available at different price points, also indicates the level of confidence in each outcome. Higher volume generally suggests greater conviction.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the first half of the Real Sociedad vs Rayo Vallecano match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of the first half, as determined by official match statistics, will dictate the winning share(s) in this market. Any delays or postponements to the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be based on the official, verified result.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Real Sociedad or Rayo Vallecano would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also impact trading activity. Even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could trigger movement. Any information that alters perceptions of the teams’ relative strengths will be reflected in the price of shares in this market.
