The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome. This market, however, is driven by the collective predictions of traders, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd, and can diverge as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It's a useful comparison point for informed decision-making.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the price converges towards what the market believes is the true probability. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment, making it a responsive indicator of potential results.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—Real Sociedad or Levante—scores the first goal in the match. The resolution will be based on official match data and records. It’s important to note that any delays or postponements to the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be determined by the first team to legally score a goal during regular play.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected lineup announcements or reports on player form could also drive price movements. Furthermore, general football news, such as changes in team tactics or overall league standings, might impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, as they can affect the style of play and potentially influence which team is more likely to score first.
