Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates diverse opinions. However, discrepancies can exist due to differing liquidity and risk appetites. It’s common to see initial sportsbook lines move closer to the prediction market price as more information becomes available and bettors refine their assessments of the likely outcome. Examining these differences can be a valuable exercise for informed decision-making.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Real Sociedad or Levante UD—scores the first goal during the first half of the scheduled match. The result will be based on official match data, and the market will settle to 100% for the team that meets this condition. Any delays or postponements to the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be tied to the first goal scored in the first half.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Real Sociedad or Levante UD would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact the perceived probabilities. Even weather conditions on match day, potentially affecting playing style, could introduce volatility. Finally, any significant public endorsements or analysis favoring one team over the other could drive increased trading volume and price movement in this market.
